Write On, Valentine! Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching and we are big fans of the conversation heart candies. We quickly came up with these “non-candy” Candy Valentine printable cards which are great to pass out at school. Although it does take time to cut out each individual card, they were super fun, looked amazing, and gave the cards a personal touch. These cards will fit two pencils or one to two pens depending on the thickness of the pen.
How to make conversation hearts candy pen/pencil cards
ONE / Download the print file. This is a single PDF with six color variations, so if you only want one specific color, print out that color’s page multiple times as needed.
TWO / Print out on thick stock – copy paper will likely rip when the pencil or pen is inserted in the card unless you reinforce it. We suggest this ESPON paper although you should check your printer capabilities for paper thickness.

THREE / Cut out the cards on the grey line.
FOUR / Next, with an Exacto knife, cut a slit above and below the heart on the white tab.
FIVE / Fill out the TO: and FROM:
SIX / Insert your pencil or pen into the card, and you are ready to go.
